In the early nineties, I helped launch an ad agency from a 10-man shop to an industry competitor. I ran a $20 MM restaurant and food-services account with the agency partner and did the early work that set the agency up for success.
I lead the effort of an early education non-profit organization to raise awareness of its mission with a new consumer market creating: broadcast quality video, crafting content for its social media strategy and directing the creative development of its 2015 annual report. I propelled an Illinois education policy non-profit into the national education reform spotlight, collaborating with the David Lynch Foundation to bring Russell Simmons to Chicago to raise awareness of violence throughout the city and education inequality. |
I helped launch a charter Montessori school in Englewood, Chicago - running their first fundraiser and developing their initial marketing materials, including video with Karen Carter TV.
In the early 2000's I was a part of an exciting internet start-up focused on higher education in the nascent online learning space. I landed The Shell Oil Company and Delta Airlines as initial clients. In partnership with family, I took over a franchised restaurant unit and spearheaded the marketing work to position the brand to expand regionally then go national.
I did the early groundwork for expanding Seton Montessori's program to include elementary years as well as delivering new marketing materials to expand their reach in the Western Suburbs. |
